Connect a PS/2 compatible USB Keyboard to a computer through a PS/2 port. The GC46FMKEY USB Keyboard to PS/2 Adapter features a USB-A female connector and a 6-Din (PS/2) male port, allowing you to connect a USB keyboard to a computer through a PS/2 port.

Please Note: This product is designed as a replacement adapter for keyboards that originally shipped with a USB-PS / 2 adapter. If your product did not ship with an adapter, try StarTech.com 's PS22USB instead.

3* Beware

This item is inadequately described. The rating is meaningless as the device did not work as initially hoped. The product is designed as a replacement adapter for keyboards that originally shipped with a PS/2 to USB converter. If your product did not ship with a converter, StarTech suggest trying a USBPS2PC instead. (BT Quicklinx : 404LWS, which did work for me).
1* Did not work
Reviewed by Treacle Bob on 05/02/2010
This adapter says that it allows a USB keyboard to be plugged into a PS/2 port. Can't argue with that. Just a shame that the keyboard doesn't work once it's connected! I also bought the equivalent mouse adapter, and it didn't work either.
