5* Sandisk Speed

Very pleased with the drive. Fitted to my PC with a 3.5" mounting rack. Weighs next to nothing! Used Acronis to clone the O/S drive over to this, set it as the boot master and away we went. 35 seconds into Windows 7 with lots running. Have since started moving programmes over to the 1tb SATA6 drive to create more space on the SSD drive as an O/S boot drive.

Very pleased with the performance and it is very quick with opening and saving files of varying sizes. Don't really game, so no comments on that. My son will probably be happy as it is a lot faster, so his PC now has a 60GB version of this drive.
5* Satisfied for a month...

I was impressed with this drive, and a 256Gb version I purchased together from BT about a month ago. My friend who is a computer shop owner showed me SSD drives on his suppliers website and I can assure you that BT was cheaper for a higher specification on both these drives. I didn't reinstall my OS (Windows 7) but like others I imaged my old drives onto these, and the startup and shutdown times were greatly improved. Unfortunately, I have had a problem with the 128Gb version when it suddenly stopped part way through booting into Windows this morning (this was in my wife's laptop) and it would appear we've lost everything on the drive. Unfortunate as there were lots of files my wife has been creating and modifying that were not backed up anywhere else. Will have to contact Sandisk to see if they have a recovery facility.
