3* It's "OK"!
Reviewed by RichardG891 on 06/11/2010
I bought this to replace my ugly powerline setup after being seduced by the very nice headline wifi bandwidth this unit is supposed to have. When set to "up to 300 mbps", and despite my 300 mbps client adapters reporting a Tx:Rx of 72:145 mbps, it struggles to transfer files across the LAN at more than 8 mbps, and stutters with DVD streaming. Remote Desktop performance from my netbook is also very weak. Good security and other features compensate a bit but I'm already looking to replace it.
2* Not for TalkTalk users
Reviewed by Greg King on 05/05/2011
I bought this to replace an unbadged Modem/Router that had worked for years.
I wanted the N version of wireless.
This thing was easy to setup but the line drops every hour or so. Firmware upgrades and tech blogs haven't helped.
The blog consensus is that this is not the device to choose for TalkTalk users.
This is heading for the bin.
