Each game demands different skills, each gamer selects, customizes and levels their own gaming character. Why stop there? MSI Performance GAMING motherboards allow you to fully customize & personalize your gaming PC to any color you want while delivering top performance for a great gaming experience.

With traditional memory design the memory signals are often distorted by electromagnetic signals from other components, making the system perform slower or become unstable. MSI introduces DDR4 Boost technology with optimized traces and fully isolated memory circuitry. This design ensures the memory signals stay pure for optimal performance and stability.

5* The Best Z170 Board

The best bios ever, great specs, good price.
5* This is an excellent motherboard.

Don't be put off by its budget price tag. It brings a bit more with it. First, the BIOS is top notch. Super easy to use with an EZmode that lets you do auto-overclocking at the click of a button. If you want more control, there is an advanced mode that lets you change just about every attribute of the board. Very nice BIOS.

The built in audio is a grade up from the Pro-gamer’s peers and delivers superior audio. I am very impressed with the construction of the board too. Top notch parts, a nice thick and durable PCB and the RAM and GPU were so easy to install. A great board.
5* frustrating memory compability
Reviewed by darren on 04/03/2016
too early for me to review, but I've had it a few hours and I've had a nightmare, I have Hyper X Fury ram and the board just refused to boot, I was concerned I had a dodgy board as some of the CPU pins didn't appear lined up right but I think its just my eyes and the light...

anyways if you have an issue with not booting, no VGA output and the easy LED light is on RAM try downloading the latest bios from MSI, copy it to a FAT32 formatted usb stick and copy the latest bios to the root dir, rename it to 'AMIBOOT.ROM' and plug it in, I plugged it in the port under the PS2 k/b plug, turned on lights flashed, then after a few seconds it rebooted with the updated bios, couldn't see it listed anyware obvious on the MSI site but I saw that guide for an older board and it seemed to work here too.

My only disappoint is I usually by asus boards, and I miss the little header to plug the led's/switches into.
