5* 23.6 MB/s Write on USB 2.0
Reviewed by Salford IT Help on 23/12/2012
Bought this for my Dad. He wanted it filled with downloads. This drive was plugged into front USB 2.0 port on AM2 Gigabyte board. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed for writing 30 GB of files (175 - 350mb) from an old 1TB HDD (SATA II). I have 2 x 1TB HDD's and they normally have transfer speeds of ~ 55 - 65 MB's for comparison.
5* So Far So Good
Reviewed by David on 05/10/2012
Got this as a BT bargain and so far I'm impressed..even using with a USB2 port this is very noticeably faster. My other sticks are the rubberised Corsairs and I must admit that they feel more sturdy but that is possibly just psychological. Certainly I have no reservations in recommending this stick so far.
5* super

Look good, good speed too. Nice for backing up documents, hope it is going to last!
3* Cheap, nasty but effective
Reviewed by GCooper on 06/04/2013
Knowing that I'll probably be moving to a laptop with USB 3 later this year, but needing a larger USB stick now, I bit the bullet and bought this Lexar, largely because it was cheap but comes from a reputable maker.

Cheap, it certainly is. I realised why when I unpacked it. It's downright flimsy. Hard to believe it will last very long in daily use. It's also slow with USB 2 - though, to be fair, it may be faster with USB 3 - I've yet to find out.

For all that, if you need a large capacity USB memory it is very well priced and (so far) hasn't failed.

In retrospect, I wish I had bought another of the rubberised Corsair Voyagers (this Lexar replaced a 16GB Voyager) which is a far nicer product to use. That'll teach me to be cheap!

2* Failed after 7 months use
Reviewed by peter on 09/05/2013
Ran fine for 7 months then without apparent reason stopped. My PC reported that one of my usb devices had taken too much power from the outlet and had shut it down. I tried it on other pcs but they all reported that it was no longer useable.
