BT7600 Nuisance Call Blocker Single

Product overview

Standard Due date unavailable

Fed up with sales calls interrupting you at home? The UK's number one phone brand* brings you the new BT7600, a high spec phone with call control functionality that blocks nuisance or unwanted calls. Its call management feature puts you back in control, by enabling you to choose the calls you want to take and those you want to block.

With the BT7600 you can choose the type of calls you want to block. For example international and withheld numbers can be blocked, which account for a large proportion of unwanted sales calls. Calls still go through to the answer machine, so if it's someone you want to hear from they can still leave a message. Alternatively if there are specific numbers you want to block, you can block up to 10 numbers from getting through.

Designed in the UK, the BT7600 offers you a large easy to read display, great sound quality and tons of simple to use features. The BT7600's built in answer machine comes with 30 minutes record time - all in an energy efficient package.

With its modern stylish design, and extra large and easy to read amber backlit screen with contrast control, the BT7600 will look the part in any room. To ensure you hear every word it comes with improved audio performance from our newly designed ear bowl and is simple to use. Other useful features include a handsfree speaker, 200 name and number directory that can be copied between handsets, caller display and call waiting (so you can see who is calling when you are already engaged in a call), 50 numbers call list and a 30 number redial list.

The BT7600 has a long outdoor range of up to 300m and an indoor range of up to 50m. This allows you to walk in and outside the house with freedom and without the fear of your call being interrupted or cut off due to low signal quality.

Talk hands-free - bringing the callers voice into the room and letting you get on with things while you chat.

With the BT7600 you can talk for up to 12 hours on a full charge, or have it on standby for up to 120 hours when the phone is not in use. Perfect for those long conversations, or when you need the phone close to hand.

The BT7600 has type II caller display so shows the caller's telephone number on the handset display. If the caller's number matches an entry stored in the phonebook, the name will be displayed instead. With type II caller display you can also see who is calling, even when you are already engaged in a call. (Caller Display is required from your network provider to enable this feature).

The BT7600 answer machine can save up to 30 minutes of messages and see how many messages you've got displayed clearly on the home screen. Messages can be played back through either the base or handset for added confidentiality. Don't miss important messages when you are away from home, access your messages remotely from an external phone using the remote playback feature. There are two pre-recorded outgoing messages that can be used on the answer machine or you can record your own personal outgoing message. Hear who's calling before you pick up.

Other useful features on this phone include conference calling, call transfer and internal calling between handsets (on multipacks), BT designed user interface, 6 line amber backlit screen with contrast control, ten handset polyphonic ringtones, one standard handset ringtone and five base ringtones with volume control and on/off facility, handsfree speaker with volume control, auto answer, secrecy feature, handset naming, keypad lock, earpiece volume control, call timer, clock, alarm, low battery alert and indicator and an out of range alert and indicator.

Eco credentials come as standard with this BT Phone and it's good to know the packaging it comes in is recyclable. The BT7600 uses a low energy power supply so is kind to the environment as well as your wallet.

The BT7600 is available in a single, twin, trio or quad pack should you need additional handsets for other rooms. Whichever pack you buy you will only need one telephone socket in your home to work all the handsets.

It does what it says, but the nuisance call blocker simply stops the handset ringing and eventually the answerphone kicks in (and most nuisance callers don't leave a message anyway) so all fine. But I also have other phones and registered a dect cordless handset to the base station and they still ring. BT does not make this particularly clear and it would be much more sensible of the blocked calls got immediately diverted to answerphone or just after one ring. My advice with the benefit of hindsight is to recommend you buy the twin, trio or however many handsets you need in your home and ditch any other phones.

This is an excellent phone, good quality and easy to use. However only one problem against. The power and line cords are far too short. My old Graphite were approx 9ft long each. If the cables were longer product rating would have been 5

Let down by the connection to tel.wall socket and cable to electrical point that is needed. Both about half the length of all previous BT phones that I have had. Have had to use previous phone's connection to tel.socket and move 'phone to a new spot. A shame, BT saving money and not considering their customer or they could have mentioned in description
