5* A second hub 4 review
Reviewed by David Christie on 19/06/2013
A company that responds to customer reviews. Many of us felt the new Hub 4 was much too expensive especially to existing customers. Well done BT - you're now offering it at a much more reasonable price and I've therefore just ordered one.
5* Much improved on Home Hub 2 and 3
Reviewed by Karen Tennant on 07/06/2013
I have now had my Home Hub 4 for 24 hours. We live in the country, miles from our exchange, so the broadband speed is painfully slow on a good day and we need something that makes the most of what speed we do have. Our house is old, with very thick, stone walls and is a long, single storey L-shape, with the master socket at one end of the L - distinctly wi-fi unfriendly - but this hub manages to get the signal all over the house with full bars. So far, there have been no dropped connections and it handles multiple devices much better than our previous hubs. It was a doddle to set up and is visually, a much better design, taking up less space too. It comes with a nice long power cable too. Can't fault it at the moment and it was £41.95 well spent! (Also the box it is sent out in gives you prepaid postage to return a Home Hub 3 for full recycling. If you have a Home Hub 2, you can send that back in the box to be disposed of by BT, but you have to pay the postage for that.)

5* Home Hub 4

Reading the reviews I ordered a Home Hub4 as an existing customer for £35 + delivery. I can only assume that the people complaining about the high price to existing customers have not followed the upgrade link in my broadband.
5* Thank You

Thank you very much Karen for your instructions re: ordering the Home Hub 4 for £35. I couldn't seem to find it anywhere and I needed to replace my Home Hub 2 as it was suffering from repeated drop outs and having to be reset. once again Thank you.
5* B.T HUB 4

I did the same as Karen and ordered the hub and the dongle which is also good value at £9.
5* Cheaper for BT customers

Just bought one for £35 + p&p (£41.95 in total)
Just log in to your myBT account and go to My Broadband. There there is an option to upgrade to a BT Home Hub 4. Select Home Hub 4 from menu on left. Select middle tab "BT Home Hub". click buy now, select your phone number and wait for them to confirm that you are a customer. Then order either completely through a credit or debit card or pay p&p that way and add cost of hub to your next bill.

Spoke to BT this PM (3 JUNE 2013) item is £109 for BT Broadband customers!!!
Reviewed by David Moss on 21/05/2013
I recently posted a poor rating for BT's Home Hub 4 on the grounds that it is being offered for £109 at present to BT Customers. I have been in contact with BT by Telephone, and it appears that from 1st June 2013 it is being offered for £35 + Postage to BT Broadband Customers which for a dual band router is most definitely a BARGAIN. I will be placing my order on 1st June, and will be remaining with BT for the foreseeable future!!

Dear BT, Sometimes you make the most appalling errors of judgement. I would really like to update to the new Hub 4 but the cost is totally ridiculous, especially for existing customers.
