5* Very Happy!

I wanted a cheap budget gaming case and power supply, saw this K2 with the brand Alpine 500w PSU so decided to give the case a try.
4* A bit shoddy in places but good value for money

OK, this is a budget case so it's a wee bit shoddy. I was shocked at how light it was. It slid around the table like Bambi-on-ice during assembly but some adhesive rubber feet soon cured that.

It's so light because the metal is thin, very thin in places. I bent the intake grill during assembly without even trying. The motherboard I/O shield wouldn't fit because one side of the aperture (exhaust fan side) was bent out of shape - it arrived that way. Drive bays were also roughly finished and bent. All easily fixed though because the metal is so pliable.

No dust filters despite the large front intake and heavily perforated side-panel. A single front intake fan, the top-mounted PSU acts as the exhaust by drawing air through itself and out of the case.

Verdict? It's a budget case that comes with a PSU - Alpine too, not some generic rubbish - and front-mounted USB3 ports for £33. Basically you get what you pay for and while it's a bit shoddy in places I still think it's good value.
