	Wireless Connectivity The DG834G 54 Mbps Wireless ADSL modem router provides continuous, untethered access to network resources and the Internet. The DG834G allows you to share your hi-speed ADSL broadband connection wirelessly with all the desktop PC’s, laptops and games consoles in the household or small office. A built-in 4 port switch also enables you to connect some computers using cables if you prefer.

	Safe and Secure The built-in True Firewall features Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and Denial of Service (DOS), which operate as your first line of attack against intruders. The DG834G provides both WEP and WPA-PSK wireless encryption standards to protect your network from eavesdroppers and bandwidth pinchers! Content filtering lets you control access to inappropriate websites and limit usage by time of day. To be ultimately secure you can limit access to designated computers using their unique ID, called a MAC address.

	Easy to Set-up The DG834G 54 Mbps wireless router is simple to use – it plugs directly into your ADSL line, no need for a separate modem. Set-up could not be easier; NETGEAR’s Smart Wizard install assistant automatically detects and makes the best connection to your ISP (Internet Service Provider). It is also easy to change the settings of your DG834G wireless router via a web-browser interface.

Great product. Easy to configure, was up and running within minutes. Found the interface very easy to use with plenty of user help. No problems with the connection, and the wireless side of things works great.

Used several of these with no real problems. It does seem to drop signals if used with 802.11b devices but if used with 802.11g I find this router excellent. Easy to setup.
I use non netgear USB network sticks if I need to get a system repair online, simply because I get them much cheaper and performance is excellent, so using matched netgear network cards should be a breeze.

Don't seem to have any problems with my ipaq (4150) dropping signals though and that is 802.11b.

On the whole a good piece of kit.

How refreshing to buy a bit of kit that actually works better than you expected it too. Straightforward setup. Good set of features. Web interface easy to use. Wireless working well with excellent range. Very happy with it.
