Locked out

Does not work in every area of the house. Permanent crackling on line. Now one handset 'locked' and will not unlock.
Only had product a few months.

I too have one of these phones and find the reviews accurate. I have a other DECT BT phones and no problem with them. The 5100 is not totally useless as I use it to keep AAA batteries charged. I wound not even offer this phone to anyone for free.

Caller Display doesn't work plus other things

This phone looks good. Stores 250 numbers so thought it would be an ideal replacement telephone. I have caller display and all the phone would display, once all numbers placed into directory was 'external call'. Also the 'missed calls' didn't show any missed calls even though I had rung from my mobile.
Very annoying when setting up the directory as even though you can turn the volume on the handset off, it still plays each melody as you scroll through to find the melody you want. You also cant turn the 'confirm' beep off when selecting a melody. Buzzing on line when making a call.
Phone to be returned within the week of receiving it.
