Good phone, but be sure to use the supplied cable

This BT branded phone is solidly made and is comfortable to use. The handset is nicely finished, with both shiny and matte plastic panels. Call quality is fine. The phone is very similar to a basic mobile phone in terms of how to find and alter the settings, and has several ringtones to choose from, some even sound quite nice.

Initial setup is straightforward, however be sure to use the supplied telephone cable! I initially plugged our old telephone cable (which worked fine with our previous phone) into the back of this one, however the phone would not make or receive calls. It worked just fine as soon as I used the supplied cable though (which looked exactly the same as our old one).
