Getting started is easy. Once you have purchased your new Windows Vista® PC with the Office Ready Image pre-installed, you will need to activate the trail software. An internet connection is required to activate the trial.

Office Ready Programme at a Glance

• The Microsoft Office Ready Programme makes it even easier to buy the 2007 Office system. The PCs listed at the top of the page are "Office Ready", which means they have an image of Office pre-installed on it already.
• All you need do to buy 2007 Office is buy the appropriate Medialess Licence Kit (MLK) from the options above which allows you to "un-lock" the full version of Office that you want.
• If you decide at the point of PC purchase that you don't want to buy 2007 Office, then you get a free 60-day trial of Office Pro. You can come back anytime within the 60-day trial period to convert to the full version of 2007 Office.

To activate your trial, just follow these simple steps:

1. Enter the 25 character Trial Product Key into the Setup dialogue box. The product key should either be provided with a new PC on a marketing card or generated from the trial icon. Then click Continue. The End User License Agreement will then appear.

2. You must accept the Microsoft Software License Terms (MSLT) to use the trial. To accept, select "I accept the terms in the License Agreement". Then click Continue and the Activation Wizard will open.

3. In the Activation Wizard, select "I want to activate the software over the internet" and click Next. The wizard will lead you through the activation process. When this process is complete, you will receive a notice that activation has been successful. The notice will indicate the date when the trial will expire.
